Indeed, curious visitors, families, and enthusiasts gathered around a program rich in discoveries, dedicated to honey and biodiversity. "This edition confirmed the public's interest in preserving bees, which are essential to pollination and the balance of our ecosystems. An event as sweet as honey that successfully combined education, delicious treats, and conviviality," emphasized Hélène Arnaud-Bill, the mayor. Thus, visitors discovered numerous stalls of local beekeepers, who shared their expertise and offered honeys with various flavors. The warm and educational atmosphere allowed for exchanges with these artisans of nature. Throughout the day, young and old took part in workshops led by the association Bee’osphera: making beeswax candles and pastel crayons, manual honey extraction, tastings, and a photo booth to capture the moment. For its part, Le Rucher de la Fauville delighted food lovers with a live culinary demonstration featuring gingerbread, marshmallows, and honey candies. The association "La terre de nos enfants" hosted practical and fun workshops, ranging from making "seed bombs" to creating zero-waste lip balms, not to mention the sensory game "Who am I?" which sparked the children's curiosity. The artistic dimension was not forgotten. Indeed, a visual arts exhibition dedicated to bees concluded with an award ceremony for the winners of a contest. Finally, during a round table dedicated to the fight against the Asian hornet, three professionals shared their experiences and opened up avenues of discussion on the methods to implement to protect apiaries.
