OLocal, a journey to the heart of the taste buds

It is here that Élodie, Cédric and Rudy, three passionate people, decided to unpack their bags and breathe new life into a former restaurant. Thus, Élodie began her catering career at 15. Although she did not attend major schools, she learned on the job, developing a deep love for cooking.

RÉUNION ISLAND FLAVORS Cédric, the head chef, a former soldier originally from Réunion Island, made the big leap to mainland France in 2010. His passion for Réunion cuisine is reflected in every dish where spices, all imported from his native island, play a central role.

Since their arrival in June 2024, Élodie and Cédric have undertaken a complete transformation of the restaurant. The walls have been renovated, the decor redesigned and the menu enriched to offer a true immersion into Réunion culture. Here, everything is homemade, from starter to dessert, with specialties like samosas, bonbons piment, and sweet potato cake.

The chef breathes authenticity into every dish thanks to carefully selected spices, notably massalé, an emblematic blend that he integrates into each of his creations. You can savor exquisite dishes such as cabri massalé and kaloupilé, not to mention other delicacies like civet zourites and rougail morue, which also enrich the menu.

OLocal is not limited to its address in La Crau. This team also shares its cuisine through a food truck or under a marquee during events such as the Festival Azur or the Kermesse Festival in Toulon.

With ambitious projects in mind, these enthusiasts plan to organize Creole guinguettes in enchanting locations, such as castles, to introduce even more people to the flavors of their island.
