Already president of the Fédération du BTP 83 and member of the national board of Pôle Habitat FFB, he succeeds Jean-Marc Stefanini, co-president of FNAIM 83, who worked on the transformation of the OIP to make it an even more unifying player in real estate in Provence.
By taking the reins of this organization, Fabien Piersanti becomes the representative of a delegation that brings together the main professional federation organizations involved in the process of building, renovating, and managing. This change comes as the OIP enjoys a new momentum, notably with the recent integration of the Chambre des Notaires du Var and the FNAIM des Bouches-du-Rhône, bringing the number of its member organizations to 20.
Regarding his new role and the OIP's mission, he stated: “Housing is at the heart of the French people's concerns, and the Observatoire Immobilier de Provence brings together all players involved in housing production. Through the diversity of its members covering all real estate sectors, the OIP is the natural interlocutor for local authorities on the matter, to whom it brings the voice and expertise of its members” (...)
He added: “The times we are living in are critical, with situations of extreme gravity affecting our fellow citizens who are in search of housing adapted to their needs that they cannot find. The OIP is there to remind society as a whole, and its decision-makers in particular, that it cannot ignore these situations, which carry the seeds of a major societal breakdown.
By taking the presidency of the Var delegation of the OIP, my wish is to win the support of all members and all of its constituent movements to challenge institutions and local authorities and urge them to rise to this challenge.”
