The Centre de Gestion du Var alongside its partners
As every year, as a partner of local authorities and public establishments of Var, CDG 83 was present for this 8th edition...

Centre de Gestion du Var In these times of uncertainty, the Centre de Gestion de la Fonction Publique Territoriale du Var showed on this occasion its desire to support its partners in all areas related to human resources.

Elected officials of CDG 83 and staff were thus present to answer visitors' questions about the missions offered, both optional and mandatory.
STRENGTHENING OF SKILLS Aware of the difficulties that local authorities and public establishments may encounter, especially the smallest ones, the Centre de Gestion du Var has chosen, under the impetus of its Board of Directors, to equip itself with a wide range of missions. This willingness is concretely reflected in the strengthening of its mandatory responsibilities (such as running the network of town hall general secretaries) and optional ones with the development of the preventive medicine service. On this point, CDG 83 has succeeded in building a team of doctors, nurses, and administrative staff, who can now meet the needs of its partners.
Thus, new affiliated and non-affiliated authorities have joined CDG 83 for the medical follow-up of their agents.
The CDG has numerous projects at the service of local authorities and public establishments.
With more than 90 agents, the Centre de Gestion du Var operates in many areas linked to the concerns of elected officials, directors general of services, and human resources.
SUPPORT FOR ELECTED OFFICIALS AND AGENTS Thus, in terms of employment, CDG 83 is mobilised to promote the attractiveness of public sector careers (recruitment assistance, attendance at trade fairs including Var emploi public, etc.) and is committed to the professional integration of people with disabilities by supporting the implementation of public apprenticeship contracts. It also supports elected officials and agents thanks to advice from the ethics reference college (missions 'ethics and secularism referent for agents' and 'ethics referent for local elected officials').
Furthermore, committed to social dialogue, CDG 83 is preparing the next professional elections to be held in 2026.
Supporting its partners also means knowing their needs in terms of professions and skills but also allowing agents who wish to progress in their careers. This is why, throughout the year, CDG 83 organises examinations and competitions directly linked to the expectations of its partners. Finally, the establishment closely monitors the continuation of its optional missions such as the prevention of occupational hazards, assistance with the archiving of paper and digital documents, or the deployment of tailored payroll services.
