RCT players brighten up the Sainte-Musse pediatrics department
From October 6 to 10, the Sainte-Musse pediatrics department vibrated to the rhythm of sport during the 21st Semaine du Sport à l'Hôpital.

Thus, the players of Rugby Club Toulonnais (RCT) offered hospitalized children, their families, and healthcare staff moments of joy and conviviality around sports practice. The objective was to promote the physical and mental well-being of the children while creating a time of sharing between patients and supervisors. During this week, five sports disciplines were offered, allowing the young patients to discover or practice activities in a fun and secure atmosphere.
The program of this 2025 edition began on October 6 with a rugby session, led by the RCT, which delighted the children with its presence and enthusiasm.
On October 8, the children and healthcare staff enjoyed a badminton session, punctuated by the children's laughter. The week ended on October 10 with an introduction to Qwan Ki Do, a discovery of martial arts on a sporty and energetic note.
Thanks to this initiative, sport made its way into the hospital corridors, offering the children a moment of escape, far from the daily hospital routine. Healthcare staff and families took advantage of this playful break to strengthen ties with young patients around a shared passion: sport.
In short, the Semaine du Sport à l'Hôpital illustrated the importance of combining physical activities and emotional support to improve the quality of life of hospitalized children.
