LES HALLES VICTORIA Located at 3 avenue des Îles d'Or, this new commercial venue is part of the global revitalization project of avenue des Îles d'Or. The project is an initiative of the real estate developer Ingeprim with the support of the Ville. Laid out over two levels, with terraces overlooking the green heart of the block, Les Halles Victoria hosts around ten gourmet stands run by local professionals, offering world cuisine (smash burgers, Cambodian and Réunionnaises specialties, Italian trattoria, tapas, couscous bar, beer bar, etc.)
3 avenue des Îles d'Or FRIENDLY ATMOSPHERE “In short, it's the meeting point for lovers of good food and a great atmosphere who gather there to raise a glass. Located right in the city center and designed as a 'living space', this two-level food court (with terrace and garden) offers more than ten stands, a central bar, and a friendly atmosphere day and night,” says Marion Cros, a young regular customer.
« Bref, c'est le point de rencontre pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine et de belle atmosphère qui s’y retrouvent pour trinquer. Situé en plein centre-ville et pensé comme un « lieu de vie », ce food-court sur deux niveaux (avec terrasse et jardin) propose plus d’une dizaine de stands, un bar central, et une ambiance conviviale de jour comme de nuit », raconte Marion Cros, une jeune cliente habituée des lieux. La jeune femme ajoute : « L’atmosphère est, sans conteste, un des atouts majeurs, avec ce côté Belle Epoque, la décoration est plus que réussie et est conçue pour « vivre » autant que pour manger : lumière naturelle via une grande verrière en façade sud, végétation intégrée, un parcours fluide qui invite à la détente et à la découverte. Que l’on vienne pour un café l’aprèsmidi, un verre entre amis ou un dîner tranquille, la déco tout en finesse — métal stylisé façon Eiffel, jardin d’hiver, mobilier soigné — montre que ce lieu est pensé pour le plaisir de toutes et tous ». Plusieurs stands ont retenu l'attention de notre jeune Hyèroise, comme elle nous le raconte : « Je pense notamment à l'écailler de la maison cambodgiennes, réunionnaises, Raynier, au stand ALL ANGUS et au stand SOHO WAT, à la boulangerie-pâtisserie Maison Gillot ». « Tout est prévu pour une pause douce, un petitdéjeuner ou un goûter en terrasse, sans oublier le bar central ou le Café Hyérois », reprend Marion Cros.
The young woman adds: “The atmosphere is, without a doubt, one of the major assets, with this Belle Époque touch, the decor is more than successful and is designed for 'living' as much as for eating: natural light through a large glass roof on the south facade, integrated vegetation, a smooth layout that invites relaxation and discovery. Whether you come for an afternoon coffee, a drink with friends, or a quiet dinner, the delicate decor — Eiffel-style stylized metal, winter garden, neat furniture — shows that this place is designed for everyone's pleasure.”
Several stands caught the attention of our young Hyéroise, as she tells us: “I am thinking in particular of the seafood counter of Maison Raynier, the ALL ANGUS stand, and the SOHO WAT stand, as well as the Maison Gillot bakery-pastry shop.” “Everything is set up for a gentle break, a breakfast or an afternoon snack on the terrace, not to mention the central bar or the Café Hyérois,” Marion Cros continues.
What also stands out at Les Halles Victoria is this double tempo: you can come alone, wander around, enjoy oysters or a quiet burger, but also come as a group for a dinner with friends, an after-work event, or even a concert or a themed evening, because yes, the schedule is busy. Whether you live in Hyères or are just passing through, this place fully fulfills its mission: to be a true 'new beating heart of the city'.
For Marion, Les Halles Victoria show what a contemporary venue can be: “A culinary market but also much more: a terrace, a bar, world cuisines, a living space. It is a great asset for the city that makes you want to meet up there, settle down, and savor.”
Indeed, visitors can compose their meal according to their desires and sit among the 250 seats (tables and counters) inside or on one of the outdoor terraces, in a friendly atmosphere, from breakfast to dinner. Finally, Les Halles Victoria is also a lively gathering place, punctuated throughout the year by an eclectic and warm program (culinary events, themed evenings, concerts, brunches, afterworks, etc.)
