All resilient in the face of risks!
In October, the Ville du Pradet organized a major risk awareness day for school children in the municipality.
Graziella Piras, municipal councillor delegate for prevention, recalled the purpose of such an organization: "This day aimed to raise awareness, inform, and prepare all citizens for the natural and technological risks surrounding them. The goal is for everyone to know the risks of their territory, the right behaviors to adopt in the event of a disaster, and thus become an active participant in their own safety." Moving from words to action, on October 13, the Police municipale organized a major awareness day for CM2 pupils, representing 120 students from the 3 schools. On this occasion, the Ville was supported by members of the CCFF and the association prévention MAIF. The CCFF, always ready to help, focused its attention on forest fire risks. The team presented its role, its equipment, and demonstrated how to use the equipment, in particular the fire hose. For its part, the association prévention MAIF presented the various major risks present in the municipality using documents from the DICRIM du Pradet. The pupils then played a board game with question and answer cards on natural and technological risks.
