The number of interns who chose CHITS is increasing significantly. There were 62 in June 2020, and their number has steadily risen to reach a record high of 136 students this year.
By working at CHITS, these young doctors join a committed team within the leading non-university health establishment in the Sud region, which benefits from recognized expertise in the Toulon metropolitan area and beyond. Certified with the 'High Quality of Care' distinction by the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS), the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Toulon-La Seyne-sur-Mer comprises three hospital sites for the entire health territory of the greater Toulon metropolitan area, representing more than 500,000 inhabitants (hôpital George Sand in La Seyne-sur-Mer, hôpital Sainte-Musse in Toulon, and hôpital Georges Clemenceau in La Garde).
