The Comité du Pradet du Souvenir Français and the Ville du Pradet offered the public a journey into memory through the exhibition “La Voix des Justes”. Through portraits, archival documents, and poignant testimonies, this initiative paid tribute to these citizens who, risking their lives, protected Jewish families hunted by the Nazi regime.

COURAGE AND HUMANITY In France, more than 4,000 people have been recognized as “Justes parmi les Nations” by the State of Israel and the Yad Vashem institution. This title symbolizes exceptional moral courage and reminds us that, even in the darkest hours of history, individuals chose humanity over indifference. The exhibition highlighted these exemplary, often anonymous choices, and invited visitors to reflect on the values of solidarity and individual responsibility.
Beyond the tribute, “La Voix des Justes” had an educational purpose. The organizers wished to raise awareness among the public — schools, families, associations, and citizens — of the importance of defending human rights and the dignity of everyone. For the Ville du Pradet and the Souvenir Français, this commitment demonstrated a desire to pass on republican values and keep the duty of memory alive for younger generations.
Designed as an emotional and reflective journey, the exhibition offered an immersive experience where history was told through the voices of those who said “no” to injustice. Each visit thus became a moment of encounter with the past, but also a call to action for a more supportive and responsible future.
