The Business Game, revealing economic potential
On November 5, 6, and 7, the 4th Business Game brought together over 150 young people and leaders around business creation projects.
Gathered at the La Garde campus of the E2C Var, more than 150 young people came from the Ecoles de la 2ème Chance of the Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur region (Marseille, Nice, Avignon, Gap, Manosque) and the 6 sites of Var (La Garde, La Seyne, Brignoles, Draguignan, Fréjus, Cogolin).
In the presence of numerous institutional partners (France Travail La Garde, Missions Locales de La Garde and Hyères, Face Var, Centre de Formation du Bâtiment, Elan Jeunes 83, Parcours SAT and Tibu Africa).
Gathered in teams, the students, coached by business leaders, economic actors, or professional coaches, were supported in their creativity and in the process of bringing their project to fruition.
KNOW-HOW For three days, in a lively and work-friendly atmosphere, the participants, divided into teams, reflected on the theme of business creation: the emergence of an idea, establishing a business model, competitor analysis, communication strategy (including social media)... With the support, perspective, and know-how of the leaders involved in this immersive adventure, the trainees tried their hand at creating businesses, associations, or innovative applications.
Indeed, in a way that is both playful and serious, the Business Game is an eye-opener for some, a confirmation for others, and allows participants to assert themselves and refine their professional project.
It is therefore an important bridge in the context of acculturation to the economic world that the E2C implement and that the Union Patronale du Var encourages in the face of human resources needs in all sectors of the economy.
Moreover, business leaders are particularly involved with the young people and committed to supporting them in the adventure, advising them, and coaching them. It is also an opportunity for employers from Var to get to know them better, identify their expectations, and understand the new generations through direct contact.
A game with multiple stakes for everyone! The 5 finalists were therefore rewarded, and from now on, the winners benefit from specific support.
Everyone will be able to benefit from this experience, if only in terms of contacts.
In short, an accelerated learning of the importance of networks in the world of work.
