IFOP has published a survey on 'How the French view their region', conducted for Régions de France.
The results confirm the strong regional identity and the confidence of the inhabitants of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur in their local authority. Thus, the Sud is the 2nd region in France for attachment to its territory. And, the inhabitants of the Région Sud declare themselves among the most attached in France to their region (91%), just behind Bretagne (93%). This result illustrates the sense of belonging and pride of a territory recognized for its art de vivre and the diversity of its landscapes.
