Camille Brochot: 'America fascinates me'!
Since 2019, Camille Brochot has taken many road trips in the US with her family (father, mother, sister Justine). She tells us about her latest...

Perfectly fluent in English (like her sister), she even had the chance to experience the Halloween celebration of New-York for a magical moment!
The former Miss Lavandou shares the story of her journey, exclusively for La Gazette du Var. The young Borméenne says: 'America fascinates me! It was in 2019 that a first journey, organized by my parents, began with an itinerary starting from New-York to then go to Niagara Falls, Cape Cod in Massachusetts, Pennsylvanie, and Washington.
But due to the health crisis, our American adventures only resumed in 2022.'
At this point in the story, Camille brings out hundreds of photos taken with her sister Justine or as selfies, then she resumes the flow of her travel diary: 'In 2022, we visited the West Coast, the canyons, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco. Then in 2023, Floride, followed in 2024 by a program in Texas where we invited ourselves into the Ewing home in Dallas, before continuing on to Memphis and Nouvelle Orléans.'

SEEING NEW-YORK AGAIN In 2025, Camille is a student in DNMADE Espace, design of ephemeral structures for events. 'I had made a wish to see New-York again and, above all, to participate in the American Halloween parade. Before arriving at this magical moment during the Toussaint holidays, we extended our trip by crossing borders, entering through Canada with Montréal and Québec, then returning to the locations of our first road trip, namely Salem, Boston, Cape Cod, Philly, Washington (with its fabulous museums) and, the cherry on top of the trip, we spent 6 days in New-York where we met the famous French comedian Florence Foresti'!
Camille concludes: 'Our stay ended with what I was looking forward to the most, namely the Celtic festival of pumpkins and monsters of all kinds where everyone plays along with scary costumes and makeup.
In an equally scary crowd! Thanks to my election as Miss Lavandou, it gave me a little extra to make my dream come true with a few additional days in N. Y. This allowed me to experience this crazy celebration. Thank you Le Lavandou and thank you to the lavandourains who voted for me'!
