Orange launches call for applications for season 8
Orange opens applications for the 8th edition of its Femmes Entrepreneuses program in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
Since 2018, this program has supported around twelve female business leaders in the digital sector in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur every year (and around a hundred nationwide in total), offering them free of charge for one year: individual mentoring, training workshops tailored to their needs, visibility and networking, as well as personalized support to develop their business. The call for applications is open until December 31.
CULTURAL REVOLUTION

Committed to supporting the feminization of Tech and digital professions, Orange is opening applications for the 8th edition of its Femmes Entrepreneuses program. Female business leaders in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region can submit their applications starting today at: Orange supports the growth of start-ups led by women in the heart of local territories (Orange's unique acceleration program in France for female startup founders, Femmes Entrepreneuses aims to strengthen the place of women in the world of new technologies, addressing the issue of their under-representation since today only 7% of startups are founded by women).
A SUPPORT PROGRAM COMBINING PROXIMITY AND PERSONALIZATION
Twelve months of support to boost growth with a tailor-made program that adapts to the needs of female business leaders: networking, e-learning, co-development, in-person group workshops led by local partners on topics such as fundraising, Corporate Social Responsibility, or personal development. Regional and national support: a local team of Orange mentors mobilized on key areas of operational business management (information systems, technical development to business management: strategic steering, recruitment, financial, legal management, or digital strategy...). Gaining visibility on social media or during major regional or national events of which Orange is a partner, such as Viva Technology or Tech&Fest.
A HIGH-PERFORMING PROGRAM
More than 200 jobs created by female business leaders across all territories (over the last 12 months). 95% continue their entrepreneurial adventure at the end of the support period. 35% gain access to financing schemes. One in three women scales up her business (Source: Femmes Entrepreneuses, impact measurement 2024-2025).
RECRUITMENT CHALLENGES
Since 2018, this program has supported around twelve female business leaders in the digital sector in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur every year (and around a hundred nationwide), offering them free of charge for one year: individual mentoring, training workshops tailored to their needs, visibility and networking, as well as personalized support to develop their business. For this 8th season, selection is open to startups founded or co-founded by women who are majority shareholders of their company, relying on tech expertise or tech use (AI, Cyber, Web3, networks, IoT, ...) and facing, for example, recruitment, organizational, development strategy or fundraising challenges. By mobilizing the expertise of its employees and relying on a network of local partners, Femmes Entrepreneuses helps strengthen the visibility, credibility, and sustainability of projects led by women, while addressing the social and environmental challenges of the region.
