Patricia Carrier elected President of the Commission Médicale d’Établissement of CHITS
On November 4, Dr Patricia Carrier, a nuclear medicine specialist, was elected President of the Commission Médicale d’Établissement (CME) of CHITS for a term…

She succeeds Dr Yannick Knefati. In her mission, Patricia Carrier is assisted by two vice-presidents: Pierre-Olivier Fais, urological surgeon and head of the Surgery department, and Valérie Dahan, emergency physician. The Commission Médicale d’Etablissement is the representative body of the medical staff; it plays an essential role in the hospital's governance by participating in the development and implementation of the medical project, ensuring the quality and safety of care, and contributing to the research, teaching, and innovation policy. Patricia Carrier joined the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Toulon-La Seyne-sur-Mer in 2009 as head of the nuclear medicine department. She successively served as head of the medical imaging department and then of the inter-facility 'ambulatory care' department. After recalling that the patient was at the center of her priorities, the new president of the CME specified: "I will work on the cohesion and unity of the medical community, the complementarity between scheduled and unscheduled activities, and the need for responsible co-management in view of the financial situation of the establishment. I also wish to develop new medical activities and investments and ensure support for clinical research and technological innovations." For its part, the establishment's management congratulated the new presidency of the CME and thanked Doctors Yannick Knefati, Laurent Ducros, Daniel Raucoules, and Aurélie Maignan, respectively former president and vice-presidents of the previous CME, for their action in service of the establishment's medical project.
JEAN-DENIS FIROLONI

And on November 7, Dr Jean-Denis Firoloni, emergency physician, was re-elected president of the Commission Médicale d’Établissement (CME) for a 4-year term. Jean-Denis Firoloni specified the thematic lines of work for this second term: "I wish to support the measures linked to the financial situation of the establishment, develop new medical activities while consolidating the existing care offering, and strengthen the link with the Centre Hospitalier Intercommunal Toulon – La Seyne-sur-Mer." The establishment's management congratulated Dr Jean-Denis Firoloni on his re-election.
