Mental health and integration, what levers for professionals?
A day of exchanges and reflection with experts.
The day of November 4 brought together all the pathway referents (DIRE, RIS, UTS and France Travail) around health and mental health issues that affect a large part of the RSA public. This meeting was an opportunity to combine expert perspectives, share field experiences and discover concrete tools to strengthen the support of people on integration pathways. In the morning, the speakers listened to the conference 'Relever, Rétablir, Réussir' led by Enzo Nouchi (Université de Bordeaux and Maison Perchée, peer support and recovery), Karen Feuillerat (CHU Montpellier, professional rehabilitation and return to activity) and Pierrick Cabrera, director of Cohérence Réseau Perpignan (adapted support towards autonomy). The afternoon continued with practical workshops addressing mental health first aid and peer support (Enzo Nouchi). In addition, the 'resource centre' initiative was launched by the Département in 2024. An innovative approach, it aims to combine the lens of health issues with that of professional integration for RSA beneficiaries. Concretely, it is divided into two areas. On the one hand, the implementation of occasional interventions with beneficiaries in order to clarify health issues in connection with professional integration and to contribute to the return-to-work objective supported by the pathway referents and, on the other hand, the acculturation of RSA pathway referent professionals on health issues in the broadest sense. A visit to the resource centre was organized on September 19. It highlighted the added value of the action in supporting RSA beneficiaries towards employment, drawing on testimonies from pathway referents as well as beneficiaries who have used the resource centre.
