Useful support for 16-25 year olds
La Ville supports 16-25 year olds entering active life through the « Pass’ Point Citoyen » scheme.

An initiative that combines professional experience, civic engagement and financial support to make training projects a reality. Enabling young people to move forward in their life projects while discovering the professional world is the objective of the « Pass’ Point Citoyen », set up by La Ville and which confirms, once again, the attention it pays to its youth. On November 18, Hélène Arnaud-Bill, mayor of La Garde and Alain Dumontet, deputy delegate for youth, welcomed the young Gardéens who had validated their « Pass’ Points Citoyens » to the Hôtel de Ville. "This scheme offers a real social and professional experience, a real asset for our young people," emphasized Alain Dumontet. Throughout the year, the participants got involved in various municipal services: printing, media library, toy library, centre de loisirs Henri Wallon, and many others.
SIMPLE OPERATION

Aimed at Gardéens aged 16 to 25, the action provides financial aid of up to €300 to support a training project (driving license, BAFA, first aid training, sports or cultural courses, etc.). Operation is simple and consists of 40 to 60 hours of commitment within a municipal service or during local events. Beyond the financial support, the « Pass’ Point Citoyen » represents a first experience that can be featured on a CV, while allowing the municipality to reinforce its teams, especially during holiday periods. Young people can be hosted in many services: centre de loisirs Henri Wallon, municipal printing works, Médiathèque services Fêtes et Cérémonies, sports, archives, Maisons des Initiatives Sociales, Maison des associations, Maison du tourisme... Depending on projects and skills, other structures can also receive them, such as the EHPAD Le Mas des Sénes, the service des espaces verts Louis-Aragon, toy library, or technical services.
