€5,000 to « P’tite Parenthèse »

As it does every year, the municipality has committed itself in an active and supportive manner. Thus, the Ville du Pradet mobilized through two solidarity actions aimed at collecting funds for the fight against breast cancer. During the Mondial de la Moule 2025, T-shirts featuring the pink ribbon, the symbol of this mobilization, were offered for sale. This initiative raised the sum of €2,000. At the same time, the proceeds from the ticket sales of the carousel, set up in the town center throughout October, amounting to €3,000, were donated to this cause.

CONCRETE SUPPORT

On December 15, providing concrete and local support to sick people and their loved ones, the Municipalité donated the sum of €5,000 to the association « P’tite Parenthèse ». Located in Le Pradet, this organization works daily with families affected by cancer, offering humane, caring support adapted to the needs of each individual. This exceptional grant will allow the association to continue and strengthen its missions and contribute to networking professionals wishing to volunteer with people affected by the disease within their places of practice (offices or spaces dedicated to well-being). It will also be used to develop support actions for the entourage of sick people, whether they are spouses, children or relatives, by promoting listening, speaking and maintaining family ties that are often put to the test by the illness. Finally, the association will continue to participate in screening and information actions through occasional initiatives and conferences open to the public.
