The Ville celebrates the strength of women
In late November, the Espace des Arts hosted the solidarity forum 'Célébrons la Femme : Bien-être et Engagement', organized by the Ville and the CCAS.

A day designed as a time for breathing and support around essential topics: well-being, mental health, self-assertion, and the prevention of violence against women. From the opening, the public turned out in large numbers to discover the workshops, conferences, and information stands. 'We wanted to create a caring place where every woman can feel heard, supported, and valued,' explained one of the organizers. Throughout the day, massages, energy treatments, makeovers, photo shoots, or body expression workshops allowed participants to take care of themselves. At the same time, they were supporting an essential cause since all funds collected through the well-being services were donated to the association AFL Transition, which is committed to fighting domestic violence.
RECONNECTING WITH ONESELF

Three introductory workshops, dedicated to the body and relaxation, were offered. Thus, the association Djai Muay Thaï opened the morning with an introduction to self-defense, which was highly appreciated for its accessible and empowering approach. It was followed by a yoga workshop led by Marjorie Tournour, then a guided meditation session led by Virginie Galfré, offering a moment of refocusing and gentleness. The afternoon left ample space for reflection and discussions. Furthermore, coach Sybille Dubost and speaker Virginie Peyré addressed the theme of control and toxic relationships, a subject that sparked numerous questions from the audience. Their intervention, both well-documented and sensitive, made it possible to better understand the mechanisms of isolation and psychological impacts. The second conference, led by Pierrette Du Barry and Nathalie Fontan, focused on self-assertion and the ability to say no. The two speakers provided concrete keys to support rebuilding, strengthen self-confidence, and break free from limiting patterns. The day concluded with a show blending song and dance, conceived and directed by Laura Colin, director of the Studio des Arts du Pradet. On the theme of 'L’amour toxique et la femme', the choir and the dance troupe delivered a poignant performance, hailed with long applause. By bringing together workshops, expert words, local resources, and artistic creation, the forum 'Célébrons la Femme' recalled the importance of supporting, informing, and highlighting women in all their diversity and strength.
