A beneficial partnership between the middle school and the socio-economic fabric
In November, the first edition of the Jean Moulin middle school Careers Forum was held with remarkable success.
A prime opportunity for students to discover the diversity of career paths available to them. Supported by Sylvie Guillet, principal, Sophie Kalombo, vice-principal, and Charifa Arab, this first edition brought together many local partners who presented their professions and career paths. 'This initiative aimed to provide students with concrete insights into guidance possibilities and to answer their questions about their academic and professional future,' recalled Charifa Arab, Conseillère Principale d'Éducation (CPE) and project coordinator.
'At the end of this first edition, the educational team was delighted with the commitment of the professionals and the quality of the discussions held throughout the morning. This event, which is set to be repeated, confirms the importance of partnerships between the school and the local socio-economic fabric to support students in building an informed and ambitious orientation project,' welcomed the project coordinator.
