Two shows dedicated to retirement home residents

This event was created in 2020 by the association Vieillison and the festival has expanded to several regions, with the 2025 edition in the Var receiving support from the Département. The final performances took place on December 13 at the EHPAD Clemenceau in La Garde and on December 2 at the Centre Gérontologique de Riondet in Hyères. Since September 2023, the residents of these two establishments (under joint management) have participated in singing workshops.
The workshops focus on creativity, memory, and expression, while highlighting their involvement in the artistic process. Each cycle of workshops concludes with a fifth final session, a unique moment where the residents take the stage alongside Danièle Alfosea, a professional singer who leads these workshops.
This participatory show brings together the entire establishment: residents, healthcare staff, families, and partners. The festival highlighted the songs practiced during the workshops, offering a time of pride, sharing, and collective celebration.
