More spacious, modern and environmentally friendly, it was rebuilt according to the latest standards of ALDI. With already more than 1,300 stores spread across the French territory, and around one hundred opening, extension or transfer projects of new stores carried out in 2025, ALDI France continues its ambitious development dynamic in France.

INNOVATIVE CONCEPT

In La Moutonne, the point of sale (which has 8 employees) applies the latest innovative concept from ALDI, deployed nationally for sustainability. It is equipped with reversible heating operating by recovering heat from the calories of refrigeration units to heat or cool the store, indoor and outdoor lighting, photovoltaic panels and motion detectors. On this occasion, Romain Mochon, director of the ALDI regional company, declared: "We are very happy to offer the residents of La Crau a spacious, modern and environmentally friendly store. This illustrates our desire to reconcile sustainable development and accessibility for all, that is to say to offer a smoother and more pleasant shopping experience, while guaranteeing quality products at the fairest price. With this store, we affirm ALDI's commitment to supporting families on a daily basis, remaining faithful to our promise, which is to get straight to the point to simplify everyone's shopping."

A LOCAL AND QUALITY OFFER

In this modernized store, the residents of La Crau find an offer made up of 90% private labels, more than 75% of which are developed in partnership with French SMEs. This guarantees quality products, always offered at discount prices. Indeed, with 1,800 references available, customers can do their shopping without superfluity or loss of time. Each day, they benefit from a supply of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as 100% French meat (pork and beef), eggs and milk. The bread, meanwhile, is baked on site throughout the day. The Craurois and residents of neighbouring municipalities also benefit from weekly arrivals (textiles, home, decor, DIY, garden...), which meet all needs with well-chosen products for much simpler shopping.
