Jean-Michel Eynard-Tomatis wants to limit the construction of social housing

In January, the Espace Nautique du Port hosted the public meeting of Doctor Jean-Michel Eynard-Tomatis, in the presence of Stéphane Rambaud, MP for the 3rd constituency of Var. "With 42 years of practicing exclusively hospital medicine and ten years in the municipal opposition, I highlight my consistency and my unwavering constancy in my political commitment," explained Jean-Michel Tomatis.

TOWN PLANNING AND INSECURITY

Regarding town planning, the candidate made commitments: "I want, for example, to minimize or at least influence the consequences of the P.L.U as well as the obligations to build social housing. There is room for action and negotiation." Security constitutes another major pillar of his program: "I deem it essential to increase the resources of the municipal police and I display, without fear, a desire to reclaim public space in certain neighborhoods where residents express a feeling of insecurity." The doctor by profession also warned about the difficulties of accessing healthcare: "For example, I note that 4,500 Hyérois are currently without a primary care physician. My flagship proposal, in terms of healthcare, lies in creating an active municipal interface linking local healthcare actors and the Agence Régionale de Santé (ARS)." Anticipating criticism on the project's feasibility, he replied: "He who does not want to do something finds a pretext. He who wants to solve a problem finds a way." The candidate finally mentioned daily issues such as the revitalization of the town center, parking, traffic, and the preservation of historical heritage and the biodiversity of the islands. To carry out this project, he relies on a team renewed by three-quarters, promising to bring "a new, consistent, constant, courageous sensitivity, at the service of everyone."
