Laurence Menichini, a career dedicated to public service

Laurence Menichini, 55, will lead the 'Tous Unis Pour Signes' list, asserting that she is putting her experience and commitment at the service of the municipality where she has resided for about ten years. The current parliamentary assistant to Frank Giletti, deputy of the 6th constituency of Var, highlights a long professional career dedicated to public service. Before her political duties, she served for more than 25 years in the gendarmerie nationale, an experience where, according to her, 'the protection of individuals and daily security have always been at the heart of [her] action.' Her career also includes roles as a delegate of the Procureur de la République in Toulon and Marseille. 'Eager to go further in my commitment to serving citizens, I have decided to run as a candidate for the Mairie de Signes,' she declared.

PROXIMITY AND DIALOGUE

Her program is based on three main pillars: improving the daily lives of the Signois, strengthening social ties, and preparing for the future 'with sobriety and common sense.' Thus, she wishes to make Signes 'a modern, supportive, and identity-respecting space.' Responding to the expectations shared with her by many residents, she insists on a clear method of governance: 'listen before deciding, explain before acting, involve rather than impose.' The candidate positions her candidacy as an 'extended hand' and a call for unity. 'I want to bring together the residents of yesterday and today; we must stop dividing the Signois,' the former gendarme stressed. She specifies that her list is composed 'of committed, competent, and representative women and men' of the municipality, from various backgrounds but united by the same objective.

The campaign for the 'Tous Unis Pour Signes' list is already underway. A campaign office opened its doors on January 12 at 5 place du marché to interact with the residents of the village center. The candidate and her team also plan, in the upcoming weeks, to meet the residents of more distant neighborhoods, specifically citing Bois Soleil, Saint-Clair, and Les Launes. •
