Under the leadership of its directors and volunteers, and under the impulse of Hubert Larose, the dynamic president, the association has braved sometimes capricious weather to maintain the social and sporting bond that is its strength.

Winter started at full speed with the gathering of Varois cycle tourists (CHCV) at the port of La Londe on November 23rd. Despite particularly chilly temperatures, the event was a great success. "256 brave souls stopped by to warm up with coffee, hot chocolate and pastries offered by the club," notes Hubert Larose. "Solidarity was also on the agenda on December 6th for the Téléthon. True to their reputation, the club's volunteers mobilized to delight visitors. Hot fries, merguez and the essential mulled wine helped raise funds in a warm atmosphere," adds the president.

"The year 2026 officially began on Thursday, January 8th, with the traditional galette des rois. This first moment of conviviality allowed the president to present his wishes and unveil the roadmap for the months ahead, with the organization of 'La Maurin' and the various cycling trips in focus," Hubert Larose continues. Finally, the month of January ended with an important event for Varois cycling. Indeed, on Saturday, January 31st, the UCPL hosted the general assembly of the Comité Départemental (CODEP 83) at the Pôle Nautique hall in La Londe-les-Maures. At the invitation of the Londaise club, 40 club presidents approved the statutory reports alongside Pierre Poujol, president of the committee. This strategic meeting made it possible to coordinate calendars and discuss upcoming activities in the.
