MGEN on the solidarity front
In November, as part of the Mois de l'Économie Sociale et Solidaire, MGEN of Var renewed its collection of products for the second consecutive year.
Organized at the national level by MGEN, this solidarity action aimed to support students in precarious situations by allowing them access to basic necessities. The official ceremony for handing over the donations was held on January 21 on the premises of the student grocery store in La Garde, in the presence of numerous representatives and partners committed to this solidarity approach. Notably present were: Sandrine Falasco, national administrator of MGEN, Philippe Pujol, president of MGEN 83, as well as MGEN elected representatives Serge Puechberty and Flore Pichaut. Brigitte Detolle, vice-president of the student grocery store, was also there, surrounded by the volunteers who work daily with the students. On this occasion, Philippe Pujol thanked all members and donors for their mobilization and generosity. He praised the involvement of the BTS class of Mme Bonneau du lycée Jean Aicard in Hyères, which organized a collection within the school, as well as that of the EHPAD MGEN de Saint-Cyr, whose residents, families, and staff actively participated in this solidarity initiative.
