Les rendez-vous de la Maison de la nature

Open all year round, entry is free of charge, and the establishment offers a diverse cultural and scientific program accessible to all. "CARBON CATCHERS" BY THIERRY COHEN Until March 29, the Maison hosts the "Carbon Catchers" exhibition by artist Thierry Cohen. Through 21 large-format photographs accompanied by an original sound creation, the exhibition invites reflection on forest preservation, light pollution and climate challenges.

A film shown continuously, Villes éteintes, completes this immersive journey, blending visual poetry and ecological awareness.

Guided tours are organized every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:30 a.m., upon reservation, allowing the public to discover the artistic work and its environmental message in detail.

The Maison also offers a varied cultural program. Notably, concerts with the group Harpyotime and the Cool Cats. The latter revisits blues and swing from the 1930s to the 1960s on February 20 at 7 p.m., while pianist Éric Penso presents the recital Les Saisons on March 13, a musical journey through works by Scarlatti, Capriccioso and Tchaikovski.

And live performances with the company La Robe à l'Envers celebrating the magic of daily life and love on February 14, and the Duo Instrumento offering the discovery of forgotten instruments on March 7. Or even participatory workshops featuring watercolor naturalist drawing, discovering the Moon and the Sun, scientific experiments—in short, activities for all ages, upon reservation, designed to raise awareness and spark curiosity.

CONFERENCES AND NATURE WALKS The Maison also offers scientific lectures, notably one by Guillaume Hébrard, an astrophysicist at the CNRS, on extrasolar planets on March 5. Finally, the Maison organizes nature walks and spontaneous meetings with a naturalist guide. These allow visitors to discover the local flora and fauna, observe birds and better understand the ecosystems of the wetland of the Plan.
