Between workshops, classes, and creations, a beautiful journey on the stage! For ten years, the company Les Demoiselles du Rocher has brought theatre to life as a space for encounters, sharing, and personal expression. Founded by actresses Clémentine Buguette and Marine Berton, the structure was built around the same objective: to pass on the passion for the stage to diverse audiences, through workshops and creations accessible to all.

ARTISTIC ADVENTURE For Marine Berton, the image that best summarizes this decade of artistic adventure is that of the final curtain calls. “Seeing all the students gathered on stage, hand in hand, is a deeply human moment,” she confides. People of different ages, backgrounds, and personalities find themselves united by a common project, after daring to surpass themselves and take risks.

Beyond technical learning, the company advocates a vision of theatre based on energy and connection.

“Theatre is a strength that we share: an energy of movement, reflection, and joy,” explains Marine Berton. In her workshops, every participant finds their place, regardless of their fears or abilities. The challenge is above all to value individualities and foster a collective dynamic.

This relationship between transmission and creation constantly nurtures the company's artistic work. Each project begins with a crush on a text or an author, but transforms through rehearsals and exchanges with the students. The group's doubts, fragilities, and impulses then become a source of inspiration, while respecting an artistic direction and sensitivity unique to the company.

PROFESSIONAL CREATIONS Among the recent creations, the show for young audiences Nuage, set to music by Michaël Herbaut, marks an important milestone. Designed in two versions for ages 0-3 and 3-8, it met with great success at the Avignon Off Festival 2025, with nineteen sold-out performances. Building on this recognition, the company is preparing to return to Avignon in 2026, at the Espace Alya, with the ambition of expanding its tour beyond the local territory.

For the years to come, Les Demoiselles du Rocher wish to consolidate their workshops, which they consider to be the heart of their approach. Developing the distribution of Nuage and imagining new creations for young audiences are also among the projects, with one priority: not to disperse, in order to preserve the artistic quality and the desire that has animated the company since its debut.

• Photos PRESSE AGENCE.
