In Pierrefeu-du-Var, the 4th edition of the “Cap vers l'Emploi” forum attracted over 500 visitors who came to meet recruiters.

Cet événement, qui s'est tenu au sein de l'espace Bouchonnerie, a démontré une nouvelle fois son utilité sociale et son impact sur le tissu économique local”, constate, avec satisfaction, Nicolas Moulin, adjudant de gendarmerie en charge du recrutement.
In this dynamic landscape, the municipality of Pierrefeu-du-Var has just made a lasting impression. "The 4th edition of the Pierrefeu-du-Var employment forum was a resounding success, crossing the symbolic milestone of 500 visitors for the first time. This event, which was held in the Bouchonnerie space, has once again demonstrated its social utility and its impact on the local economic fabric," notes, with satisfaction, Nicolas Moulin, adjudant de gendarmerie in charge of recruitment.
MASSIVE MOBILIZATION As soon as the doors opened, the public turned out in large numbers. The two rooms of the Bouchonnerie space were the ideal setting for continuous exchanges between candidates and representatives of the working world. This year, more than fifty contributors were mobilized to welcome visitors.
The organization, which was particularly meticulous, ensured a smooth flow, saving participants from any hesitation or waste of time. "Throughout this busy morning, job seekers and young people looking towards the future were able to engage in direct dialogues, folders under their arms and curriculum vitae in hand. This human contact, often neglected in favor of digital platforms, remains the cornerstone of a successful recruitment and a serene career path," adds Mr.
Moulin.
WIDE RANGE The success of this edition is largely due to the many partners present. The forum was able to offer a comprehensive range of solutions for all profiles. Whether seeking traditional job offers, work-study contracts, or simple observation internships, every visitor was able to find something aligned with their aspirations.
“The security and defense sector drew particular attention. Representatives of the Police nationale and the Gendarmerie nationale conducted numerous interviews to present their professions. Similarly, the armed forces were represented by the Centre d'information et de Recrutement des Forces Armées (CIRFA), offering concrete career prospects to young Pierrefeucains.
Beyond immediate recruitment, many stands were dedicated to career transition advice and information on the various existing support systems," continues the person in charge of recruitment for the gendarmerie of Var.
“This success is not the result of chance, but of a close partnership between the municipality, institutional actors, and local professionals. Everyone worked together with a single objective: to promote access to employment and support the economic development of the local area,” further asserts the adjudant de gendarmerie. Both organizers and exhibitors praised the quality of the exchanges.
