By transforming the Palais des Congrès into a living stage, the event offered enthusiasts an immersion into the aesthetics and craftsmanship of past decades. The highlight was the "Renaissance Azuréenne" fashion show. This event, the result of a collaboration between the Conservatoire de la Mode Vintage, led by Tinka Kemptner, and the Comité Miss Excellence Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur, paid a vibrant tribute to the great Riviera fashion houses that have now disappeared.
The public rediscovered names that once made the Sud region shine internationally, such as Tiktiner, Philippe Salvet, Dana Côte d'Azur, Mercier, Mic Mac or even Christian Llinares. Through pieces with structured cuts, made from noble materials and featuring impeccable finishes, the runway show highlighted the importance of preserving and transmitting this heritage.
This initiative was complemented by the "Pépites oubliées" exhibition, also presented by the Conservatoire, which highlighted unique creations from this rich past. LIVING TESTIMONY Thus, for two days, the city of Toulon vibrated to the rhythm of vintage fashion, an event that has established itself as the largest fair in the South of France dedicated to second-hand goods and sustainable creation.
Organized by the company Ivanhoé, the event gathered more than 80 exhibitors from all over France and attracted a large crowd, with an expected attendance of nearly 7,000 visitors over the entire weekend.
In Voiron, the Conservatoire fights to save French brands from the golden age of ready-to-wear between 1960 and 1990 from oblivion. Faced with the threat of oblivion hanging over hundreds of French brands, the Conservatoire has made it its mission to safeguard this priceless industrial and cultural heritage, considering each garment as a fragment of the country's social history.
"The situation is serious. Hundreds of French brands, flagships of the golden age of French ready-to-wear, are sinking into oblivion. These magnificent labels risk disappearing forever, depriving future generations of an invaluable source of inspiration.
Fashion is much more than a matter of fabric. It is a living testimony, a reflection of the industrial and cultural history of France," warns the organization.

Des centaines de marques françaises, fleurons de l'âge d'or du prêt-à-porter hexagonal, sombrent dans l'oubli. Ces griffes magnifiques risquent de disparaître à jamais, privant les futures générations d'une source d'inspiration inestimable. La mode est bien plus qu'une affaire de tissu. Elle est un témoignage vivant, un reflet de l'histoire industrielle et culturelle de la France », alerte l'organisation.
