How to overcome recruitment difficulties?
The 2MF was born from a collaboration between industrial and institutional players.
Each sector pursues the objective of promoting the exchange of best practices between professionals and federating a maintenance ecosystem, creating privileged relationships between PME and large groups, and giving a positive image of the careers and training in this sector to high school and university students, by offering jobs and internship opportunities. 50 PARTICIPANTS The 2026 edition of 2MF was presented on February 20. A major event dedicated to industrial maintenance, the 2026 gathering confirms its ambitions.
During this meeting, which brought together around fifty participants, industrial, civil and military, naval, yachting, and aeronautics actors, PME and contractors, the organizers discussed the program for the next edition. It will be held on December 9 and 10, 2026, at the Palais des Congrès Neptune in Toulon, which for two days, will live to the rhythm of industrial maintenance of complex systems. Furthermore, 2MF is labeled 'Semaine de l'Industrie' by the Ministère de l'Économie, in addition to the 'Innova Maintenance' label from the AFIM.
After a noteworthy 2025 edition, in 2026, the ambition remains strong and new features are being offered. The 2025 edition confirmed the interest in the 2MF concept, with more than 2,000 visitors over 2 days, mainly professionals but also high school students, university students, and job seekers, the format of this forum is highly attractive. A success linked to the quality of the speakers during the conference sessions, but also to the many exhibitors who placed their trust in 2MF.
This format is therefore being renewed for the next edition.
PARTNER NETWORK The Village des Entreprises will be expanded, with the continued presence of large groups but also recruiting PME. The conference sessions, in addition to REX and Keynotes, will host round tables on cross-cutting themes. And workshops will allow for a deeper exploration of certain maintenance themes.
The first meeting will take place on April 16 at 6 p.m. (Hôtel IBIS Toulon), on the theme 'MCO de combat: What paradigm shift?' Because it is in the DNA of 2MF, the partner network remains highly active. Those from last year remain loyal to the event and are joined by 2 new partners: FACE VAR, to combine the promotion of maintenance careers and inclusion, and the GICAN, for a focus on MCO Naval players.

Furthermore, 2MF will be active all year round, with a series of Afterwork Maintenance, open to professionals. There, we will address future themes in the form of round tables for In November 2025, around forty exhibitors, including large groups like NAVAL Group, KNDS, Thales, SOPRA STERIA and many PME, were present. During this 4th edition of 2MF, the actors internship, work-study, and job offers.
The France Travail teams were also mobilized during the event to promote careers in industry.
