Departmental road safety education championship in La Londe-les-Maures
On March 21, on the initiative of the UCPL, the departmental road safety education championship took place in La Londe-les-Maures.
42 young people aged 9-12 from 8 Var clubs took part in the 3 events of the day, which included a road course, a maneuverability circuit with obstacles, and multiple-choice questions on the highway code and cycling. 7 clubs were present (Nans-les-Pins, La Valette-du-Var, Les Adrets de l’Estérel, Pays de Fayence, La Londe-les-Maures, Le Luc-en-Provence) for this beautiful, friendly and sporting day. Pierre Poujol, president of the departmental committee, hosted this event orchestrated by Marie-Charlotte Burgo, head of the Ecoles Varoises de Vélo. "The icing on the cake, the sun was out," concludes Hubert Larose, the president of the UCPL.

Girls:
1st Keyla MURZEAU (La Valette-du-Var), 2nd Marine-Line CALLE (Nans-les-Pins), 5 young people from La Londe were present, including Téo BEUREL who finished 10th out of 42.
