Dassault Aviation posts solid financial health

In a complex international environment, marked by war at Europe's doorstep and fiscal and customs pressures, the French aircraft manufacturer posts solid financial health and optimistic prospects for the coming year. Revenue reached €7.4 billion in 2025, with an adjusted operating income of €635 million, up 22% compared to 2024. Adjusted net income rose to €1.061 billion, despite a €96 million tax surcharge in France.

SUCCESS OF THE RAFALE

The Rafale combat aircraft remains the group's commercial flagship. The year 2025 was marked by the delivery of the 300th aircraft and the firm order of 26 aircraft by the Marine indienne. The order book reached a record level of €46.6 billion, including 220 Rafale and 73 Falcon. Beyond current orders, the Conseil d'acquisition de la défense indien approved the entry into negotiations for the acquisition of 114 additional Rafale. This prospect highlights Dassault's "Make in India" strategy, already materialized by taking majority control of the joint venture DRAL (Dassault Reliance Aerospace Limited) and collaborations with major players like Tata Advanced Systems. The business aviation segment evolved in a more contrasted market, due to uncertainties related to customs duties in the United States during the first half of 2025. In this context, the Falcon activity recorded 31 orders and 37 deliveries, a figure below the initial target of 40 aircraft. Management highlights that competitiveness remains a key factor in this highly competitive market that is sensitive to economic conditions. Dassault Aviation continued intense development efforts. Work on the Rafale's F4 standard is progressing, with the acceptance of the F4-2 and the development of the F4-3. The future combat aircraft program (SCAF) continues with phase 1B. On the civil aviation side, the Falcon 10X program is progressing, with a first aircraft being finalized. The year 2025 saw the maiden flights of the mission aircraft ARCHANGE (a strategic intelligence Falcon 8X) and ALBATROS (a maritime surveillance Falcon 2000), with the first delivery expected in 2026. Finally, in the space domain, the VORTEX-D demonstrator was launched with the support of the Direction Générale de l'Armement (DGA). "The forecast for 2026 is an increase in revenue compared to 2025, around 8.5 billion euros, including the delivery of 40 Falcon and 28 Rafale," announced Éric Trappier, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Dassault Aviation.
