For its seventh edition, the national week of 'Rencontres Santé-Travail' adopted a new signature, 'Au cœur des entreprises', and a format focused on proximity. Supported by the Présanse network, this event aimed to promote the prevention of occupational risks and highlight the missions of the Services de Prévention et de Santé au Travail Interentreprises (SPSTI). In the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, this approach resulted in an unprecedented initiative with the opening of the doors of companies recognized for their exemplary practices.

CLOSER TO THE GROUND The objective was to offer an immersion into the daily lives of employers and employees to illustrate how health and safety are integrated into activities. Rather than major conferences, the focus was on sharing experiences through site visits, intended for other business owners and their teams.

"Each year, the Rencontres Santé-Travail give rise to the organization of numerous prevention actions throughout France. They are there to encourage dialogue and the sharing of expertise," explained Cylia Sarais, Regional Delegate of Présanse PACA-Corse. "By taking place at the very heart of companies, the event adopts a more accessible and concrete format, making it possible to precisely identify the problems encountered, observe in situ the solutions that have been deployed, and cross-reference viewpoints," she added.

Seven companies from the PACA and Corse regions, from various sectors, participated in the operation by hosting registered visits. In Var, in Six-Fours-les-Plages, the family glassworks INFINIGLASS opened its doors on March 26 to detail its structured prevention approach, carried out with SPSTI Odalia. Following a risk mapping, metrological studies on noise and lighting as well as a chemical risk analysis (silica) were carried out.

The company also shared the results of a pre-study on the integration of exoskeletons by 2027.

STRATEGIC CHALLENGE Hervé de Veyrac, president of Présanse PACA-Corse, recalled: "Prevention has direct impacts on human, social, legal, and financial aspects, by reducing absenteeism and preserving productivity. The Présanse PACA-Corse network federates 16 SPSTI which support 165,000 companies and 1.6 million employees thanks to the expertise of 1,700 contributors, including 300 prevention specialists (ergonomists, occupational psychologists) and 620 healthcare professionals."
