An exploration through color and light

The Town presented the exhibition "Parcours le monde", a creative immersion bringing together three artists at the Galerie Le Moulin. It was an invitation to escape launched by the Municipality. From March 10, the Galerie d'art Le Moulin opened its doors for a new exhibition entitled "Parcours le monde".

This cultural event highlights the diversity of artistic expressions through the works of three women with very distinct worlds, but united by a shared desire to transport the spectator to other horizons. At the heart of this initiative is the desire to create a dialogue between different techniques: watercolor, painting, and ceramics.

The exhibition offered a journey through near or distant landscapes, captured by the eye of Andrée Terlizzi. A watercolorist and travel diary artist, she has made travel her primary source of inspiration. Her works are distinguished by an ability to capture light, freezing on paper fleeting moments gathered throughout her wanderings.

The travel diary, a demanding discipline that requires speed of execution and a sense of observation, makes it possible to recreate the atmosphere of the places visited with a unique authenticity.

Alongside her, Sylvie de Lafuente offers a different approach to escape. A painter of the imaginary, she leads the audience into dreamlike realms where reality blends with myth. Her canvases, filled with poetry, weave close links between nature and imaginary tales.

The artist thus invites us on an inner journey, filled with symbols and gentleness, offering a dreamlike counterpoint to real landscapes.

MATTER SUBLIMATED BY FIRE The artistic trio was completed by Anne-Marie Chasson, whose work on volume and matter brings a tactile dimension to the exhibition. A ceramicist, she specializes in the Raku technique. This firing process, originating from Japan, is renowned for its unpredictable results and characteristic crackles that make each piece unique.

Anne-Marie Chasson exploits these singular effects to "sublime the material", revealing colors and textures that only the passage through the trial of fire can achieve. Her sculptures thus engage in a dialogue with the pictorial works, enriching the visitor's journey with a physical and textured presence.

This exhibition was intended as a sensitive journey. Between the luminous watercolors, narrative canvases, and ceramics with metallic glints, the Galerie d'art Le Moulin was transformed into a crossroads of creativity. The Town, organizer of the event, emphasized the importance of this moment of sharing. Located at 8 avenue Aristide-Briand, the Galerie Le Moulin confirmed its role as a key cultural venue, offering a prime showcase for local and regional talents.
