A day to celebrate the renewal of spring

Conceived as an immersive day in the heart of the living world, this event highlighted nature, local know-how, creativity, and sharing. Between discoveries, workshops, and encounters, children and adults alike were invited to explore, experiment, and reconnect with their environment in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere. On the day's program: A local producers' and creators' market on the place de la liberté, the presentation of local products, artisanal creations, seasonal ideas, and pottery demonstrations. The public was also able to discover a “Jardin vivant” area, still on the place de la Liberté, a plant fair, a seed library (which allowed for seed swapping), and a “Grandir au printemps” space. There was also a seedling workshop to learn about gardening and promote biodiversity (free workshop), creative workshops for young and old with tote-bag painting and an introduction to watercolor (paid workshops). For the youngest, an educational farm was set up in the jardin Roger-Gensollen, allowing for an instructive encounter with animals and raising awareness of respect for living things. At the SITTOMAT stand, visitors were able to gather information and advice on sorting, waste reduction, and eco-friendly practices.

FAMILY TIME

Enfin, lors de cette journée, le Baba Grill, Le B120 et Le Café de la place proposaient un menu printanier à 25€. Bref, de quoi se restaurer et profiter de la journée, notamment à l'espace pique-nique et détente du jardin Roger-Gensollen. Par ailleurs, une visite guidée du Parc de l’Abeille et de la biodiversité était aussi au programme. Et, le matin, en parallèle du lancement de la manifestation, cette visite était animée par l’apiculteur Baptiste Cellier. Ce temps privilégié a permis de mieux comprendre le rôle essentiel des pollinisateurs, le fonctionnement d’un écosystème vivant et les enjeux liés à la préservation de la biodiversité. Une immersion pour débuter la journée, en lien avec les valeurs du Printemps du Coudon. Au final, une journée pour partager un moment en famille, de s’inspirer et de célébrer le renouveau du printemps.
