A key event, La Matinale de l’emploi brought together more than 800 people.
The employment dynamic in the territory of La Valette-du-Var was once again brilliantly illustrated during the dedicated morning event, organized by the municipality in partnership with numerous institutional and economic stakeholders. The event, firmly established in the local calendar, exceeded 800 participants, establishing itself as an essential platform for connecting recruiters with job seekers or people undergoing career transition. During his opening speech, the mayor welcomed the high turnout and the large number of contributors mobilized for the occasion.
He praised an effective collective dynamic, entirely focused on supporting employment and economic development in the local area.
CARREFOUR From the very first hours, a continuous flow of visitors bore witness to the attractiveness of this 2026 edition. All profiles were represented, creating an environment conducive to exchange and the emergence of opportunities. Young people seeking their first job, experienced seniors, people considering a career transition, and students looking for work-study contracts were able to find precise information and direct contacts on site.
The atmosphere, both professional and informal, helped facilitate initial contacts, which are often decisive in a recruitment process.
The success between the municipality's services and the strong mobilization of employment and training partners—local businesses, support organizations, public institutions, and representatives from various sectors—turned out in large numbers, illustrating the vitality of the local economic fabric. Numerous opportunities were on offer, with immediate job openings, work-study contracts, and real career advancement prospects.
Several sectors experiencing labor shortages particularly attracted attention. The construction sector, with its high demand for labor, generated great interest thanks to its recruitment prospects and rapid training opportunities. Similarly, careers in catering and cooking met with great success.
Finally, the rapidly expanding personal care sector benefited from increased visibility, promoting essential and meaningful careers.
The stand bringing together the security and defense forces saw record attendance. The Marine nationale, the Armée de l'air et de l'Espace, the Armée de Terre, the Légion étrangère, and the Police nationale were present alongside the information and communication point of the Gendarmerie, supported by the Centre d'Information et de Recrutement of the région Sud. The many exchanges with representatives made it possible to present the missions, values, and multiple recruitment pathways of these state bodies.
For many visitors, it was an opportunity to demystify entry requirements and, for some, to spark new career vocations.
