“Nettoyons le Sud” returns on May 30
The City mobilizes for the environment.

The event is now well anchored in the local calendar. Therefore, on Saturday, May 30, Le Pradet is participating for the fourth consecutive year in the regional operation 'Nettoyons le Sud', supported by the Région Sud. This major citizen waste collection day brings together municipalities, associations, and residents every year around a common goal: preserving the environment.
During the previous edition, nearly 25,000 volunteers mobilized across more than 300 collection points, helping to collect no less than 100 tons of waste in the region. In Le Pradet, mobilization was particularly strong. Many participants gathered on the beach of la Garonne as well as in the surrounding neighborhoods to collect several kilograms of waste, particularly plastics and cigarette butts.
Building on this success, the municipality is renewing the initiative and inviting residents to mobilize. The meeting point is set for 10 a.m. at la Garonne beach for a morning dedicated to commitment and conviviality. Residents, families, and associations are all called upon to participate in this collective effort to protect the coastline and raise awareness of environmental issues.
A concrete and accessible action for everyone to make a difference at the local level.
