Exemplary landscaping projects
Organized by VALHOR, this national competition has rewarded French horticulture, floristry and landscape developments for nearly twenty years.
From Alpes-Maritimes to Bouches-du-Rhône, by way of Var, Vaucluse and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the region possesses a rich and varied landscape heritage.
Already boasting 32 past award-winning projects, it was invited to confirm its momentum and highlight its talents. 'Les Victoires du Paysage distinguish exemplary development projects based on four criteria, namely relevance to environmental and societal issues, respect for professional standards, landscape quality and the integration of sustainable development. These projects aim to improve the living environment, promote user well-being and preserve biodiversity.
They testify to an approach where aesthetics are combined with technical and ecological requirements,' explains Max Bauer, 10th Vice-President of VALHOR.
He adds: 'In this context, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region stands out for the quality and ambition of its projects. It illustrates a desire to reconcile urban development and the promotion of the developments carried out there, reflecting a commitment to more harmonious, sustainable and attractive spaces. They contribute to improving the daily lives of residents.
Driven by the expertise of its professionals, the Sud region stands out as a territory of reference, capable of combining innovation, respect for the environment and landscape excellence.'
