On April 28, the "Les entreprises s'engagent" club organized a meeting at lycée Cisson between 75 students and professionals for their professional future. Thus, lycée Cisson in Toulon hosted the "Pro dans mon lycée" event, a half-day designed to create bridges between the world of education and that of business. Organized by the departmental club "Les entreprises s'engagent – Club du Var", led by the association FACE Var, this initiative enabled nearly 75 students to dialogue with local economic actors, discover professions, and prepare for their future professional integration.

The ambition of "Pro dans mon lycée" is to respond to a crucial challenge, which is to facilitate the orientation of young people and give them the keys to enter the job market. The goal is to demystify business by making it more accessible and to allow students to refine their future projects through concrete testimonies and sound advice.

This local action was part of the national community « Les entreprises s'engagent », a Groupement d'Intérêt Public (GIP) co-founded by the ministère du Travail, de la Santé et des Solidarités and France Travail. This community, co-chaired by Sylvie Jéhanno, CEO of Dalkia, and Thibaut Guilluy, Director General of France Travail, aims to mobilize companies on major social issues, including youth employment.

PRACTICAL WORKSHOPS The morning was structured around a dynamic three-stage journey, designed for a progressive and effective immersion. After a welcoming phase, the high school students were divided into groups to participate in a series of thematic workshops. The "Mon parcours avenir" workshop, led by a human resources manager and FACE Var, focused on preparing for job interviews, an often-dreaded exercise.

A second workshop, named "Pitch inspirant", gave the floor to professionals who shared their career paths, their experiences, and the reality of their daily jobs. Finally, the "Savoir-être en entreprise" workshop, led by a consultant, addressed through role-playing the behavioral skills (soft skills) expected by recruiters.

The half-day ended with a "job dating" style forum, a key moment where students interacted with company representatives to apply for internships, work-study contracts, or future jobs.

The success of this operation relied on the commitment of the Var companies present. Among the participating entities were major names of the local and national economic fabric (GRDF, VEOLIA, COCA-COLA MIDI, NAVAL GROUP, FORUM 2MF, ORANGE, and PYROALLIANCE). Their presence demonstrated a willingness to invest in the training and guidance of young people.

The event, carried out in partnership with the educational teams of lycée Cisson and employment actors, illustrated an effective collaboration to strengthen the essential link between school and business.
