Faced with a housing crisis that is affecting the purchasing power and life course of many French people, the government is increasing field consultations.

Thus, Vincent Jeanbrun, minister of City and Housing, Innovation and territorial Attractiveness, was in Var for a series of discussions with professionals in the sector. In the presence of Stéphane Rambaud, MP for the 3rd constituency of Var, the minister took the pulse of an ecosystem searching for solutions to revive construction and ease access to property ownership.

For the Var parliamentarian, this visit was an opportunity to confront national strategies with local realities and to reaffirm the need for close collaboration between the State and economic actors: "This visit allowed us to meet real estate and building professionals in order to discuss the challenges facing the sector: reviving housing production, simplifying procedures, access to housing for families, and the attractiveness of our territories. Faced with the housing crisis affecting many French people, it is essential to maintain a constant dialogue with field actors in order to build concrete answers, adapted to local realities and the expectations of our fellow citizens."

Digital innovation

Among the paths explored to boost the market, technological innovation occupies a central place. One of the highlights of this visit was the meeting with the leaders of La Boîte Immo, which has established itself as a reference in the digitalization of real estate professions.

"Thus, the meeting with Olivier Buguette, director of La Boîte Immo in Hyères, a recognized player in innovation in the real estate sector. It is considered one of the main French players in PropTech (technologies applied to real estate). It supports independent real estate agencies by providing them with a set of digital tools to manage their business and develop their online visibility. In short, it is a fast-growing company that has established itself as a major player in the digitalization of real estate agencies in France thanks to its software, its digital services, and its investments in artificial intelligence," concluded the parliamentarian.
