La Crau: Villa des Tilleuls reborn thanks to a €1.2M investment

The municipality of La Crau celebrated the rebirth of one of its iconic buildings. On October 16, Villa des Tilleuls was inaugurated after an extensive renovation campaign, marking the public opening of this fully redesigned edifice.

The ceremony took place in the presence of Christian Simon, senator for Var and elected official of La Crau, and François de Canson, president of the Region and of Méditerranée Porte des Maures. Their presence underscored the strategic importance of this project for the local area.

Decisive regional support

The realization of this major rehabilitation was made possible by a significant financial commitment from the Région Sud. More than €1.2 million was allocated by the regional executive to support the Municipality in this renovation and extension project.

This investment is part of the regional scheme “Nos territoires d’abord”, a flagship program aiming to support municipalities in executing their key structural projects.

The aim of this policy is to enhance the attractiveness of local areas, preserve local heritage, and improve the quality of life for residents. The transformation of Villa des Tilleuls is a concrete illustration of this ambition, giving a second life to a historical building while adapting it to modern needs.
