La Garde: the Ville pays tribute to its volunteers
The Municipalité thanked the many volunteers who invest their time all year round in the municipal structures.
Solidarity was in the spotlight during a ceremony organized by the Municipalité to thank the many volunteers who invest their time throughout the year within the municipal structures.
Gathered in the presence of Hélène Arnaud Bill, mayor of La Garde, and several elected officials including Marie-Hélène Charles, deputy delegate for solidarity, these volunteers were praised for their daily commitment to serving the population.
Strengthening the social bond on a daily basis
Their action is deployed in establishments and services of the commune, notably within the Centre communal d’action sociale (CCAS), the municipal crèches, the Maison des Seniors, the Maison France Services, the Mas des Senes, or the Marie Curie residence.
Thanks to their availability and involvement, they contribute to strengthening the social bond and accompanying many residents in their daily lives.
Varied and essential missions
Assistance with administrative, legal, or digital procedures, support for family caregivers, intergenerational actions, or even the fight against isolation: the missions carried out by these volunteers are varied but all meet the same objective, that of promoting mutual aid and solidarity in the territory.
During this friendly gathering, the Municipalité expressed its gratitude towards these actors who are often discreet but essential to the smooth running of local services.
