La Garde: a festive and free summer!
In July, the Ville offers a rich and varied programme with free activities to satisfy all audiences.
Shows, reading, poetry, conferences, philosophy agora, concerts, outdoor cinema, night markets, and neighborhood festivals are on the programme.
Philosophy for everyone with the summer agoras
"Les Agoras 83", in partnership with the Ville, offers evenings open to all on the theme: "Le coaching des philosophes".
Hosted by Philippe Granarolo and Valérie Paillard, they introduce philosophy, making it lively and accessible. A lively dialogue is established between the philosophers (played by Philippe Granarolo) and his highly humorous partner Valérie Paillard.
The conferences are followed by an exchange with the public and end with a friendly drink.

This trio with violin, cello, and harp centered around Henriette Renié and Claire-Mélanie, rarely performed, reveals a refined lyricism and a subtle virtuosity.
In mirror, two creations by Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber, Renouée des oiseaux and Héliotrope, extend this dialogue between heritage and contemporary creation. A sensitive and poetic musical journey where bowed strings meet the luminous transparency of the harp.

Nocturnes Médiévales, the highlight event of the summer!
Embark on a journey back in time to the heart of the Middle Ages to meet fantastic creatures, knights, troubadours, and acrobats. An unforgettable experience for the whole family!
Throughout the stalls and taverns, take a tour of the artisans' fair: fire arts, woodturning, glassblowing, models, and ancient instruments.
The fantastic immersion continues in live shows, in the town centre and in the Vieille Garde. On the esplanade Gérard Philipe, plunge into the magic of the camp of dreams with a funfair of jousting and archery, a wrought iron carousel, and giant wooden games.
