Place Jean-Jaurès, an open-air guinguette
Every Friday during the summer, La Valette organized free guinguette evenings on place Jean-Jaurès.

Every Friday in July and August, La Valette revived the tradition of popular dances by inviting the public to a large, free guinguette evening.
A festive interlude in the heart of the town
In the mildness of the summer evenings, the Ville offered a festive interlude by reviving the convivial and timeless spirit of guinguettes. For the occasion, place Jean-Jaurès was dressed in its finest attire to welcome residents and visitors in a warm and musical atmosphere.
Thus, every Friday starting from 8:30 pm, the town center vibrated to the rhythm of the celebration. This event open to everyone was an opportunity to dive back into the joyful atmosphere of the popular dances of yesteryear.
A moment of social cohesion
More than just a simple concert, this guinguette evening aimed to be a moment of social cohesion. Bringing together all generations, it was designed for families, groups of friends, and neighbors wishing to meet up in a festive setting.
