From June 30 to July 4, the festival Les Nocturnes at Château Forbin delivered a 3rd edition marked by excellence.
Initiated in 2024, the classical music festival “Les Nocturnes” enchanted Solliès-Pont for its third edition. Under the musical direction of Olga Jegunova and in partnership with the Municipalité, led by Mayor André Garron, the event confirmed its place in the local cultural landscape.
After two highly successful first editions, the festival has forged a unique identity, combining artistic standards and conviviality. The majestic and intimate setting of Château Forbin offers a rare proximity between musicians and the audience, transforming each concert into a privileged experience.
The organizers made this gathering a refuge, a moment of emotion through the unifying power of classical music.
International renown
This 2026 edition was marked by the exceptional presence of world-renowned pianist Christian Zacharias. The artist delivered two highly appreciated performances.
The first was a solo piano recital for the opening night on June 30. The second, on July 1, was a chamber music concert for which he collaborated with talented musicians from the ensembles of Toulon and Monaco, resulting in a high-flying musical dialogue.
Shows for all audiences
True to their desire to make classical music accessible, Les Nocturnes offered several performances designed for families and young audiences.
On July 1, a musical narration of “The Little Prince” by Pierrick Grillet, accompanied on the piano by Olga Jegunova, invited the audience on a poetic journey at the Médiathèque René Char.
On July 3, the public discovered an original show blending piano and pantomime, featuring actor Benoît Turjman. Finally, on July 4, the musical performance “Ti-Train” by the company Abracadabra Musiques was specifically aimed at toddlers.
Young talents and opera evening
The festival continued its mission to support emerging artists. Thus, on July 2, a free concert highlighted the Young Talents of the Conservatoire Toulon Provence Méditerranée (TPM), offering them a prestigious stage to express their virtuosity.
The closing night, on July 4, was dedicated to opera. The voices of singers Kaarin Cecilia Phelps and Emmanuelle Demuyter resonated wonderfully in the castle courtyard for a brilliant finale.
