From June 30 to July 4, the 3rd edition of the Les Nocturnes festival at Château Forbin was placed under the sign of excellence. Under the musical direction of Olga Jegunova and in partnership with the Municipality led by mayor André Garron, the event confirmed its place in the cultural landscape.

After two highly successful initial editions, the festival has forged a singular identity, combining artistic standards and conviviality. The majestic setting of Château Forbin offered a rare proximity between the musicians and the public, for a great moment of emotion thanks to the unifying power of classical music.

International renown

This 2026 edition was marked by the exceptional presence of the world-renowned pianist, Christian Zacharias.

The artist offered two performances: a solo piano recital for the opening night, then a chamber music concert on July 1 with talented musicians from the orchestras of Toulon and Monaco.

Classical music for everyone

True to their desire to democratize classical music, Les Nocturnes offered several shows for families and young audiences.

On July 1, a musical narration of "Le Petit Prince" by Pierrick Grillet, accompanied on the piano by Olga Jegunova, invited the audience on a poetic journey at the Médiathèque René Char.

On July 3, the public discovered an original show mixing piano and pantomime, with the actor Benoît Turjman. Finally, on July 4, the musical show "Ti-Train" by the company Abracadabra Musiques was aimed at toddlers.

Young talents and lyrical closing evening

The festival continued its mission to support emerging artists. Thus, on July 2, a concert highlighted the Young Talents of the Conservatoire TPM, offering them a prestigious stage to express their virtuosity.

The closing evening, on July 4, was dedicated to lyrical art, making the voices of singers Kaarin Cecilia Phelps and Emmanuelle Demuyter resound in the courtyard of the castle.
