In La Garde, the coastline is transformed into a playground for scientific and fun exploration. Throughout the summer, Naturoscope is offering a series of immersive activities in the heart of Anse Magaud, allowing the public to discover the unsuspected treasures of the Mediterranean.

The summer program kicked off on July 4 with the opening of the underwater trail. This day featured several highlights: snorkeling excursions equipped with fins, mask, snorkel, and wetsuit to explore the seabed accompanied by a guide, and an interactive quiz titled "Un trésor sous la serviette", allowing participants to learn more about marine ecosystems, particularly posidonia meadows, with prizes to be won.

Feet in the water

Throughout July and August, the experience continues with regular sessions on July 8, 11, 15, 22, and 29, and August 5, 12, 19, and 26. Each session, offered at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., invites families to observe coastal biodiversity in a safe and educational environment.

Open to children from age 3 accompanied by their parents, this program focuses on discovering local wildlife: small marine animals, fish, crustaceans, starfish, or sea urchins.

It is offered at a single rate of €5 per participant, who must bring closed-toe shoes suitable for walking in the water.

Immersion

In parallel, introductory snorkeling excursions are offered from Tuesday to Saturday every week until August 29, at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. Equipped with a mask and snorkel, participants set off to discover the Mediterranean seabed accompanied by a guide.

Fish, posidonia meadows, starfish, or crustaceans make up a rich universe that Naturoscope wants to promote and preserve.

The activity is offered at a rate of €5 for children and €10 for adults, with equipment provided.
