The Municipality, in partnership with the Comité Départemental Olympique et Sportif du Var (CDOS 83), has set up a "Sport Santé Passerelle" program starting in autumn 2026.

This initiative, led by an organization certified as a Maison Sport Santé, is aimed at residents of Le Pradet over 60, people with chronic illnesses, or those who have stopped all physical activity for a long period.

The goal is to offer a progressive and supervised return to sport, in perfect alignment with each individual's abilities and needs.

Personalized support

To support participants, a reception and advisory system has been set up. CDOS 83 will hold office hours at the association room of the Claude Mésangroas sports complex, starting on September 21.

These are held by appointment on the third Monday of each month, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Each interview allows for a personalized assessment of the participant's physical condition.

Based on this, sports educators can guide the individual either towards the program's Adapted Physical Activity (APA) cycles, or towards local sports associations in the municipality offering disciplines compatible with their profile.

Sixteen sessions to progress gently

The core of the program is based on cycles of sixteen Adapted Physical Activity sessions, provided on a weekly basis. Supervised by qualified professionals, these sessions are designed to allow gentle progress in a secure environment.

They aim to restore participants' confidence, improve their mobility, and help them rediscover the benefits and pleasure of regular physical activity. To guarantee quality follow-up, groups are limited to a maximum of fifteen people.

Practical information

The weekly sessions begin on Monday, September 21 and take place every Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., in the association room.

Registration is mandatory and must be completed with the Sports and Youth Department of the City. The department can be reached by phone at 04 94 08 62 30 or by email at sport@le-pradet.fr.

Physical and telephone reception is available from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
