A festive and friendly program to liven up the town
Concerts, open-air cinema, and traditions liven up the town all summer with a rich and free program.
From July to September, the Municipality invites residents and visitors to share festive and friendly moments through a multitude of free events.
Concerts, cinema screenings under the stars, traditional guinguettes, exhibitions, and commemorations liven up the emblematic places of the commune, from the downtown squares to the Espace culturel Albert-Camus, and the Jardin remarquable de Baudouvin.

Guinguette and cinema
“This booklet is your guide to a rich season, mostly free, and designed for everyone: families, young people, seniors, long-time residents as well as newcomers,” emphasizes Julien Argento, Mayor of La Valette-du-Var.
Fridays rediscover the flavor of traditional guinguettes. Until August 28, the places Jean-Jaurès and Carnot come alive to the sound of live concerts in a warm atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and social gatherings.
Wednesdays are dedicated to the 7th art with five free open-air cinema screenings. Families will discover recent and highly anticipated films like Le Commencement (July 15) or the live-action adaptation of Dragons (July 22), projected on a big screen at nightfall.
The cultural offering is completed by programming at the Médiathèque Albert-Camus, which offers creative workshops for young people as part of the “Partir en Livre” operation, exhibitions such as “Pas pareil” by Émilie Vast, as well as fun activities.
The artist Isabelle Becker is also exhibiting her sculptures and drawings from July 22 to August 7.
Traditions and memory
Music is at the heart of the festivities with several exceptional evenings.
On Friday, July 17, the place Jean-Jaurès hosts the regional tour “Ça c’est le Sud” with a line-up of prestigious artists: Julie Zenatti, the essential voice of French song, the Chœur du Sud, and the collective Bande à Part.
The following day, Saturday, July 18, gives way to the Kontrast Summer Tour, a show performed by an orchestra of fifteen artists for an intergenerational dance party.
A different atmosphere on Saturday, July 25, for the Fête de la Sainte-Anne, which transforms into a “Kermesse Festival”. The group Tragédie, an icon of the 2000s, will perform an exclusive showcase, followed by a DJ set to relive the greatest hits of the decade.
Finally, on Sunday, July 19, Sainte-Madeleine, patron saint of gardeners, is honored at the Jardin remarquable de Baudouvin with a Provençal mass followed by the 41st grand popular aïoli organized by the association Lou Rodou Valettois.
