Pauline Chantereau (administrative secretary)
Since June 2021, Pauline Chantereau, 28, has been an administrative assistant at NGE.

To secure this job, she joined the joint Pôle Emploi – RCT scheme aimed at women under 25, which enabled her to work for a subsidiary of ENEDIS as part of the LINKY mission.
A PLEASANT JOB

This career change has been particularly successful for her. "I enjoy my job tremendously. My role is to manage personnel and contact the temporary employment agencies that I am regularly in touch with when we need them. I also prepare the payroll and listen to our 250 employees to resolve daily issues. This involves anything from health insurance and timesheets to advance payment requests and employment contracts," the young woman explains.
Indeed, there is a certain turnover in these jobs, which forces Pauline to search for replacements through temporary employment agencies. The employees come from all over the region, mainly from Var, but also from neighbouring departments.
“My contract with NGE runs until 2025. However, I don't think I will continue working here because it requires extensive travel across France, and that doesn't fit with my personal life here in Toulon, as I have a 6-year-old child and my partner works in Var. Afterwards, I would like to stay in the public works sector, particularly in personnel management. Thanks to NGE, I've got a great calling card to approach companies in the sector, and perhaps I'll resume my studies to get a degree in human relations,” Pauline concludes with a broad smile.
